Cats Photo Story
As anyone who has lived and experienced 2020 realized, the world has changed overnight. During such a decline in a time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are more confined to home than any other time in history, and consequently, I have been pushing my understanding of relationships with individuals, animals and humans alike. Whether it is starting a garden or interacting with family members, or that strange neighbor named Phil down the street, one thing that has been growing ever present is the relationships I have built with the six cats that live in my household.
This series is focused on four individual animals, BooBoo (grey) who is the feisty alpha princess, Sammy (black and white) who is the loud mouth and most explorative, Iddy (Calico/multi-color) the most friendly and loving mama, and Biggie (red tabby) who is the fattest of them all. They each appear to have their own unique way of looking at the world, and this series is my attempt to capture their explorative, dependent lives.
